Kira Stone - Bump in the NightThings that go bump in the night. They excited him. He thrived on them. He’d waited all night to hear a sign, and one had come. A persistent, rhythmic knocking from the room below his.

Wade Myers slid out of the antique sleigh bed, his heart beating as if he were on the verge of a climax. He still wore a pair of sweats and a faded yellow t-shirt, not wanting to be caught with his pants down when the big moment came. If it came.

And it finally had.

He grabbed the digital camera, fully charged, from the dresser where he’d left it, and opened the door of his suite. The lush carpet kept his bare feet from making any noise as he tiptoed down the main staircase of Hoag Mansion.

Cool air stirred the short hair at the base of his neck as if someone had sighed upon it. Something that felt like a hand caressed his ass through the heavy material. “What the --” Wade spun around, but there was no one there.

Neat trick, well executed. But hardly original. He’d seen a lot of gimmicks during his six-year tenure as a Paranormal Debunker. He’d hoped for better than banging doors and cheap feels from an old mansion reputed to be haunted by a number of overly amorous ghosts. So far, he wasn’t impressed.

Wade paused, listening for the noise that had lured him out of his suite. The rhythmic knocking continued, but muted. On the main floor of the luxury bed and breakfast the mansion had become, all the rooms were public. Access wouldn’t be an issue. Too bad.

He’d been fantasizing about tossing his hostess to the floor and debunking a few myths about male stamina and the existence of G-spots from the moment he’d set eyes on her. Showing off by knocking down a door or two might have been a good way to get her attention.

Or get his ass thrown out.

Better to impress her with his keen intelligence and ability to ferret out the truth by doing what he’d been brought here to do. Unmask a couple of amorous ghosts.

Confidence swelled his chest, and his cock, as he padded down the dark hall. Following the map of the second floor in his head, Wade calculated the approximate location of his bedroom and ended up in front of a closed door.

Grunts and groans came from inside the paneled library, as well as the banging he’d been homing in on. He opened the door with caution, expecting to spy upon a pair of randy, yet fake, poltergeists. What he caught instead were his hosts, Joshua and Karen Robards, fucking in broad daylight. Errr… moonlight.

Karen’s breasts shimmied under her expensive pink top with each thrust of Josh’s hips. Her red skirt had been hiked up around her waist, her pert bottom exposed as she bent over the gargantuan desk. If she’d been wearing panties, they were long gone. Wade didn’t miss them a bit. Her rounded ass was a sight to make his mouth water.

The sound, Wade noted belatedly, was coming from the desk drawers as they rattled in their tracks.

At Wade’s entrance, Joshua looked up. “Honey, I think we’ve been caught.” He slapped her ass, then added, “Red handed.”

“My apologies. I assumed…” Wade broke off as Karen ran her eyes over his body, lingering on his thickening erection. “I’ll just be going then.”

“Mr. Myers, wait,” Joshua said…
